   Hi Rita!
   
   My son was a recruit in Kilo Company, Platoon 3057, and graduated August 7.
   
   I read that your son was waiting, along with 40 others, to be picked up at MCT. My son left for MCT last Monday, and I haven't heard anything since then.
   
   I assume that he, too, hasn't been picked up, and that graduation will be delayed by a week. I wonder why he hasn't phoned me; I realize you don't actually have an answer for me!
   
   It's nice to meet you. I'm sure we'll have more opportunities to keep in touch.

   The colors actually go by battalion. 1st BN is Red, 2nd BN is Yellow (gold), 3rd BN is blue and 4th is maroon

   Marine Mom....Hope you don't mind me dropping in but I was reading something you had wrote and you mentioned that your son was to graduate 8/7. If you don't mind me asking what platoon? My son is Kilo 3061.
